Holme Valley Online Booking

Please read the important changes we have made to make your stay safe and comfortable and comply with the law due to COVID-19.

Booking Your Stay

Due to the national lockdown, we are currently closed. Following the government announcement on 22nd February, we will be able to partially reopen on Monday 12th April.

Touring Guests (Tents, Caravans, Motorhomes, etc)

From 12th April (STEP 2), the amenities blocks will remain closed for shared use, therefore we can only accept bookings from guests who have their own toilet and shower if needed – these facilities will not be available on the park until the 17th May at the earliest. Likewise, the washing up facilities and laundry room will remain closed.

Cabin Guests

Like in 2020, as our toilet and shower blocks will remain closed, each camping cabin will come with its own private family bathroom or wetroom at an extra £12.00 charge per night, capped at £48.00 per week until 17th May at the earliest. If you are booking a cabin for after this date when we hope the amenities blocks will be open, the extra bathroom cost will still be charged automatically online, however we will refund the cost before your arrival. Please bring your own cutlery, plates, cups and pans (we normally supply these) as well as your bedding. A stove top kettle will be supplied as normal. As Willow glamping cabin has an induction hob, if you book this cabin, we will supply you with pans for cooking.

No groups of friends in one cabin, people in the cabin must be from the same household.

Group Bookings

From 12th April no more than 2 households may holiday together in their own units (tents, caravans, etc). Groups of 3 units are allowed but may not contain more than 6 guests in total.

We have a legal duty to follow this new rule, therefore any groups of more than 2 households who arrive at the park will be turned away without a refund. As a business, we cannot risk bending the rules and breaking the law. If you have already booked for a group larger than we are allowed to accept, please contact us as soon as possible to rearrange or organise a refund.

From 17th May 3 families or households maximum may holiday as a group (staying in their own units. As a park rule, when restrictions relax from 17th May, we will no longer accept groups of more than 3 families. Group bookings postponed from 2020 will be honoured however.

No Mixed Households in Units

Instruction from the government states that guests may only be able to share accommodation or a unit (tent, caravan, cabin, etc) with somebody they already live with therefore we cannot accept mixed households in units.

No Visitors on the Park

If you have friends or family who live locally, until 17th May, please do not invite them on to the park as we have set limitations for the number of pitches and guests. Please arrange to meet up elsewhere. From 17th May, you may have visitors, but they must be kept to a minimum. Please inform reception before their arrival.

Our Covid Secure Policy

If we remain closed for a booking you have previously made or you can no longer come due to Covid-related reasons, we prefer that you postpone your booking to a future date but will allow you to cancel your booking with a full refund.

If you can’t see any availability for the dates you would like to stay, please call us on 01484 665819 and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Park Facilities

The park facilities which will reopen from 12th April include the chemical waste disposal points and water taps. You will still be able to relax and enjoy our fishing lake and our play area is open, but don’t forget the woodland, river and fields. Kids can explore these areas on their bikes, go den building, follow the woodland trails, play hide and seek or kick a ball around. Please, however, do not allow younger children to roam unsupervised around the park so that they do not, albeit inadvertently, break the 2m rule.

We are sorry, but our private family bathrooms will not be available to hire before 17th May at the earliest. These are reserved for cabin guests.

The details on our Events Calendar and Food Calendar for 2021 are yet to be confirmed.

Dogs are very welcome, and the surrounding woodland is ideal for walking and letting your dog off the lead for a run around, however we do strictly ask that they are kept on a lead on the park at all times.

Getting Here

Please note if you are using a Sat Nav to find us, it will almost definitely take you to the wrong end of our lane. The only way to access the park is off the A6024 where you will see camping and caravanning signs. For further details please see the ‘Directions’ attachment on your booking confirmation.

We hope to welcome you soon!
